My photography seeks intimacy with people, objects, and infrastructure. I linger on felt isolation and alienation in transitory and utilitarian spaces while highlighting interiority and opacity in parallel human experience. I embrace elements of chance in the field, often using long exposures, intentional camera movement, lens manipulations, or reflection to capture unscripted moments of action, expression, and interaction. I was born and raised in Southern California and live in Los Angeles with my wife, three cats, one dog, and a snake with a sweet disposition.
